One of the fabulous things about {we are} storytellers is the wealth of knowledge and experience at the site. My fellow artists are awesome and the storytellers just rock!
Everyone has a slightly different style, a different take on the same product and a unique way of using them. One of the things I am loving about the gallery is the {footnotes} where we share HOW or WHY we did, what we did.
There is an education gallery at {we are} storytellers, if you click into the layout you will find a quick explanation from the artist on the hows and whys of their layout. This is a great way to pick up tips and ideas to use on your own layouts. You can spot a layout that includes a {footnote} easily by looking for a * at the end of the title.
We were all very impressed with Jennifer's layout Puddle Jumpers* she shares how she created her incredible layout using drop shadows that didn't darken the centre of her transparencies from Emily.
I have shared how I used clipping masks and the Mirror Mirror On Your Wall templates to create a storyboard called Fire Station Visit*, making short work displaying a series of photographs, which can be a time consuming task.
Angela included a {footnote} on her layout Birthday Boy* which explains how she used a doodle from Emily and Jenna's My Little Wonderful Boy kit, to create fabulous repetition, and balance to her layout.
We are all about sharing our stories, learning from one another and growing as artists. I hope to see everyone in the education gallery doing just that!
Happy sharing and learning!
