Do you sometimes wonder why it is, we do what we do? I'm talking about scrapping. So many times I find myself trying to use a kit or fulfill an assignment, rather than actually scrapping for myself. But I had an ah-ha moment today. I was working on this layout:
and the thought crossed my mind: I can't remember what my life was like before I was 4 or 5. So my children probably won't remember much about their life right now either. (I have a 3 yr. old and a 1 yr. old) These moments that I'm recording will help them see what life was like before they can remember. I thought it was a good way for me to stay focused in recording the moments that are important to me as a mom! Always remember to tell your stories for you and your family!!

I completely agree, Emily! I am the same way. I scrap because I don't remember the small things as a kid and wish I did and hopefully my kids can see the joy they brought me through my scrapping. And hopefully they will remember just a little bit of it while looking back on my pages.

That is exactly why I scrap, and take pictures like a wild woman! Even if I never get 1/2 the pictures scrapped, someday my kids can look back at all the pictures and get a feeling of what day to day life was like in our home.
